Forehead
Forehead Contouring, Brow Bossing Contouring, Brow Reduction
In the case of men with high foreheads and significantly raised brows relative to the eyes, these problems can be rectified as follows: The surgeon makes a headband-shaped incision on the top of the head above the hair line. He will then use a device to contour the forehead and brow bones so that they become more curved and feminine in appearance. Afterwards, the wound is stitched closed, leaving a thin scar hidden within the hair. Forehead Contouring and Brow Boss Contouring can reduce the height of the brow and forehead by 3-5 millimeters.
The surgery takes about 2-3 hours, with the use of general anesthetics.
Brow Reduction
In the case of extremely brow bones, it is necessary to use the procedure of cutting and compressing the most exterior bone in the brow area
in order to sufficiently lower the brow bones
. This wound will be similarly located on top of the head and can reduce the height of the brow bone up to one centimeter. The procedure must be undertaken by an experienced and specialized surgeon to avoid negatively impacting other critical body parts, such as the brain and the eyes.
The surgery takes about 3-4 hours, with the use of general anesthetics. Generally, a one week recovery period is required.
Post Operative Care
1. Sleep and rest with head slightly elevated to reduce swelling
2. Two days after the surgery, you can gently wash your hair to eliminate dry blood stains
3. Stitches can be removed within 10 days
