Brow Lift‚ Temporal Lift
The Forehead Lift, Brow Lift and Temporal Lift surgeries help resolve problems with regard to wrinkles found in the forehead area, crow feet, and sagging skin on the upper part of the face, making it firmer and more radiant. Today, such surgery can be undertaken using little time, and is safe, so that you can have radiant skin, and regain your self confidence.
Forehead Lift to help lift the brows, and reduce wrinkles around the forehead can be undertaken in two ways:
1. Surgery with wound on the head at the location of a headband to lift the forehead, remove any excess skin, then stitch the wound closed. It is possible to cut the muscles located between the eyebrows in order to effectively reduce frown lines in this area
2. Surgery using an Endoscope (Endoscope Forehead Lift) has an advantage in that there is no scarring; it minimizes numbness in the head area, but is relatively much more expensive because of the use of special equipment to assist in the surgery
Brow Lift and Temporal Lift
This is a surgery that corrects problems with regard to crow feet, and low level of brows, making them more arched, and the face looking younger. This method of Brow Lift and Forehead Lift will be undertaken with the wound first opened along the hairline area with length of about 7-10 centimeters. The wound is cut deeper into the area around the outer corners of the eye brows or eyes, and is pulled to make the area firm, cutting out any excess skin from both sides. The wound is then stitched closed. For patients with receding hairline and low eye brow level - very close to the upper eye lids, it is not possible to open the wound at the forehead or hairline, and therefore, it is necessary to open the wound in the area just above the fringe of the eyebrows, remove any excess skin, then close the wound. The disadvantage of this method is that the scar may be clearly visible. Duration of the surgery is about 1-2 hours, with the use of local anesthetics.
Advice
1. The patient should wash her hair prior to the surgery to avoid infection, and must not use hair spray, gel, or any chemicals whatsoever on the head
2. Sleep and rest with head slightly elevated to reduce swelling for a week.
3. It is possible to gently wash the hair two days after the surgery to eliminate blood stains
